You’ll learn essential knowledge and practical skills to dive safely — including how to plan your dives, solve problems underwater, and make sound judgments in the ocean.
After completing the course, you’ll be certified to dive up to 18 meters. This means you can enjoy fun dives at dive sites around the world!

Open Water Course in Phuket
The PADI Open Water Diver course is made up of three key phases:
Knowledge Development – Learn the basic principles of scuba diving through eLearning, self-study, or classroom sessions.
Confined Water Dives – Practice basic scuba skills in a pool or shallow water.
Open Water Dives – Apply your skills and explore real dive sites!
In this course, you’ll also learn how to use essential scuba gear — including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, and tank.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or just starting your scuba journey, the Open Water course is your first big step into the underwater world.

Your 3-Day Schedule
Day 1
08:30 ~ 09:00 Pick up at your hotel (time may vary by location)
09:30 ~ 12:00 Confined water training with your PADI instructor
12:00 ~ 13:00 Lunch break
13:00 ~ 15:00 Continue pool session & skill practice
15:00 ~ 15:30 Return to your hotel
💡 Tip: Complete the theory part in advance through PADI eLearning before your trip. It saves time and lets you focus on diving once you’re in Phuket!
⏱️ If everything goes smoothly, the session may finish earlier than expected.
Day 2
🛥️ Boat Diving Option
07:30 Hotel pick-up (time may vary by location)
08:30 Meet your instructor at the pier, board the boat, and enjoy breakfast
10:30 Open Water Dive 1 at Racha Yai Island
11:30 ~ 12:30 Lunch and fruits
12:30 Open Water Dive 2
15:00 ~ 15:30 Return to the pier and transfer back to your hotel
⛵ You may do 2 dives on Day 2 and 3 dives on Day 3 — or vice versa, depending on the schedule.
🏖️ Beach Diving Option
Available only during the dry season (November ~ April)

08:00 ~ 09:00 Open Water Dive 1 at Kata Beach
09:00 ~ 10:00 Surface interval
10:00 ~ 11:00 Open Water Dive 2
11:00 ~ 12:00 Equipment rinse and wrap-up at the dive center
12:00 Return to hotel & enjoy a free afternoon
🏝️ If you dive from the beach on Day 2, you’ll join a 3-dive boat trip on Day 3.
